The Miamisburg Cross Country team (Miamisburg, Ohio) had quite a run at the Alliance Invitational, where an astonishing twenty-five team members set personal bests. They also set the fifth lowest score in school history, but they will have several more meets to try and go lower.

The Smithtown East Girls Volleyball team (St. James, N.Y.) kicked off the 2011 season, going 5-0 in league play after defeating both Northport High School (Northport, N.Y.) and Newfield High School (Seldon N.Y.), 3-1. The Bulls also won an early season tournament.
